Merry Christmas
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! Our Christmas was wonderful, filled with friends and family. Congrats to Trav and Katie on their engagement! So excited for Katie and the Neuschwander's to be a part of the family. It went by so fast and the New Year is upon us. I'm so thankful for all the blessings in my life! Above is Grant and my present to each other. This year we decided to get a combined present for both of us instead of individual presents. I think Grant wanted to do this for me since I've been wanting a TV in the bedroom for quite some time :) What a GREAT husband!

23 Weeks
23 Weeks and counting! I'm feeling baby daily and Grant has felt a kick twice now. We are still busy working on the nursery. It's amazing how much stuff can collect in a room when you don't have an actual purpose for it and use it as a catch-all. Taking some time to sort thru it all but we're getting there. We both love how it's turning out.......Pictures to come later.Wednesday, October 21, 2009
Poor Petrie
Poor Petrie has been ousted! After 5 happy year for her and the spare bedroom, she is being kicked out slowly but surely. Her bed (the spare bed that she believed to be hers) is gone to make room for a crib and there is painting being done. After a few days of wandering aimlessly thru the house trying to find her new niche (and trying to sleep with me, which was NOT working), she has decided to stay in the room and make herself at home on a few baby things we have. She just can't let go of her room......

20 Weeks Down.....

Where to start?? It feels like it has been a big wonderful whirlwind. We are 20 weeks pregnant today, which puts my due date at 02/28/10. It all started in June and I had a couple of weeks of some nausea and being tired thru the summer. Grant was amazing thru it all and made me appreciate him even more than normal. He was making dinner, doing dishes all the while telling me to rest. What a Great husband!
We opted to wait until our 12 week appointment to break the big news to our families and I have to say I was surprised that noboby figured it out before. We just had our 20 week ultrasound on Friday and it was amazing to see baby moving around. We did not find out the sex, so that will be a big surprise to come. Now we are working on the baby's room and getting ready to start in on the kitchen again. We have been enjoying going to Tia's JV volleyball games (undefeated so far & she has my JV coach) and Grant is happy to be playing city league Basketball again. So far the time is flying by and I know it will continue to do so. Baby will be here before we know it.......
