Feeling Better....Tonight

B finally seems to be feeling better. He woke up in good spirits this morning but his mood quickly declined. No return fever but just whiny, crabby and out of sorts. Crying at every little thing and wanting me to hold/comfort him most of the day. Ate a good lunch and finally took a nap this afternoon. He woke up happy and stayed happy all evening.....thankfully! Hopefully he can kick this crud to the curb tonight!

Sick Boy Update

B's nap was 3 hours and 45 minutes!! He woke up in good spirits and drank his body weight in apple juice......well ok, not his body weight but it was alot for my guy. He ate a little better but still not his norm and we have been fever free all evening! Grant just checked him again as we are climbing into bed and he was 98.8.

Cuddling with my little, big boy who has a fever and doesn't feel good. We discovered B had a fever last night. Wasn't really interested in dinner and then just laying around with his blanket. Fever was 102, gave him some meds and he fell asleep on dad. Still a slight fever this morning but he's moving pretty close to normal again, just not a big appetitte. He will take sips of his drink anytime I ask him to, so that makes me feel a bit better. He's napping now and I hope he feels better soon. I don't like it when my kids get sick!

Just Another Day.....

With 2 of the greatest babies I have ever met! They love being with each other and this setup works quite well. Keeps them far enough away from grabbing the others face (why do they always go for the eyes or feeding tube?) but close enough they can play together. I love hearing their baby conversations which generally consists of grunts, squeals and the occasional laugh at something they find really funny!

January Snow!

January 15th brought the first (and probably only) snow of the year. Baron, wearing his yellow boots of course, thought it was pretty neat and entertained himself by wandering around in the little bit that was on the ground while it was coming down. Now we need to get him up to some snow that doesn't melt the minute it hits the ground.....imagine how fun that would be!

1st time eating cereal by himself. He had 2-3 good bites and then he dumped it onto his tray :)

Littlest Sister

is all grown up! My baby sister is currently dancing the night away at winter formal. She is a senior and has a boyfriend (oh my!). A group of us (Tara, Katie, Kiara, Elliott & I) went to watch her get her hair done earlier and then met at Dad & Debbie's to watch the group take pics, etc. Of course I forgot my camera but will post a photo of Tia when someone takes pity on me and forwards me a copy. She was adorable in her teal with black polka dot dress, back heels and hair up with a flower!

It's hard to believe that come June she will be graduating and heading off to college. It kinda puts things into perspective that when I graduated she had just turned 5......Dear time, please slow down!

Twin Love

1st Post of 2012

We made it to 2012! I am thankful to 2011 for my big boy's 1st birthday, the arrival of our twins, 6 years of marriage and much more. I look forward to what 2012 holds for our family!
