Schools out for Summer!

Baron just finished up 3 year old pre-K. He had crazy hair day on Monday and beach day on Wednesday. Since Wednesday was the last day, they got to spend the whole day outside playing and eating and Home Depot even came to the school to teach the kids to build little tool carriers. We gifted the wonderful Miss Lori with crazy daisies and a canvas picture frame that says "You are the apple of my eye". We had a great school year and will greatly miss Miss Lori!

I love all his new found funny expressions! And yes, he wore the same shirt on Monday and Wednesday.

Strawberries & Sunshine

Elliott Annabelle and I ventured out this past Sunday to pick strawberries. Grant was fishing, the boys opted to play at Honey's and Elliott jumped at the chance of going with me. We got a bit of a late start by the time we were out the door and dropped the boys off, so it was pretty warm while we were picking. Elliott did a great job but not one of her picks made it into the basket. She loved eating berries to her hearts content. She is my fruit lover! I picked just over 10 lbs when she had had enough but it was getting hot and close to nap time, so we went ahead and called it a day. And the boys were all happy to enjoy fresh strawberry shortcake that evening!

Elliott & Maverick are 3!

Our twins turned 3 in May! This funny, energetic, social, loving, kind and adventurous pair are so much fun and make life that much more entertaining. We started out their special day with a trip to get birthday donuts and then celebrated them at home surrounded by family and friends with smoked chicken, homemade baked beans, caesar salad (honey), pasta salad (nana), fruit salad (great-gram), veggie tray (uncle trav), grape slushie, chocolate cake and adorable Minnie mouse & Thomas the train cookies from nana. The weather was terrible leading up to the party (think rain blowing sideways) but by party time it had pretty much stopped raining and guests were able to be outside if they chose. Mav & Elliott had so much fun opening their presents and partying it up that as soon as the guests left, they crashed out for the rest of the afternoon!  We love you little sunshines!!

*Note ~ I thought I had more pics from the party but upon review, it appears a 4 year old brother did most of the photo taking ;)
