Tia Graduates!

We got to celebrate my little sister in June when she graduated from high school. She is the youngest of the 5 Younger siblings and we were all able to be there when she walked across the stage and received her diploma. It was really neat to get to experience this with her and we are so proud! Love you little sister!

Today Was The First Time...

I took all 3 of my children to Fred Meyer by myself. I popped Baron in the cart, Maverick in his carseat in the basket and Elliott in the front pack. We received lots of looks and a few comments of "you sure have your hands full" and "look at all those babies" while we made a quick trip around the store. It's always entertaining for me because I know people are thinking it's crazy to have so many little ones so close in age and I know this because I would have thought the same thing and probably still do :) But our little party of 4 made it quite a successful trip!

And Baron got his first popsicle from the ice cream truck! Perfect timing too because the truck was driving by right as we were getting out of the car. We picked a giant popsicle, went out back, stripped him of his clothes and away he went. It was everything I hoped it would be with the line of melted popsicle down his bare belly and everything ;) He has had ice cream and Popsicles before but never from the ice cream truck.

What a Great day so far!

Boy or Girl...Girl or Boy?

I can't wait for Friday. My brother and sister-in-law are finding out if Baby Younger will be a new niece or nephew for the family to love on. I was thinking girl and have now moved on to boy. I am a terrible guesser though, so we will just have to wait these next couple days to see. I do know this baby will be very loved!

Disneyland

I returned home today from my first kid-free getaway since the twins arrived 14 months ago. My little/younger brother won an awesome trip thru his work for a weekend at Disneyland with one guest, so when he invited me I jumped at the chance. I mean who doesn't love Disneyland, right?!?!

It was to be a quick trip, so I hopped a plane on Friday and made it to the happiest place on earth in the early afternoon. Tyler's work put us up at the Grand California Resort which is a killer location when it comes to Disneyland. We would literally walk out of the hotel to either Downtown Disney (not to be confused with Main Street Disney which is in the park) or directly into California Adventure.  We hit the pavement hard since I had to fly home today (Sunday) fairly early and wanted to get the most out of our time together. We had a blast on the rides, ate good food and really enjoyed each other's company.

Thank You again dear brother for bringing me along! I will always cherish our time together. I already miss you and can't wait to see you again. I love you!

Thank You Grant & Nancy for keeping the kids so I could enjoy a little time to myself! I don't know what I would do without you both! xoxoxox

And Thank You Mickey Mouse for thinking of Baron ;) His present hasn't left his side since I got home.

Fevers, Bee Stings & Falling.....Oh My!

The last week has been an experience here in Webster Land. Here is a peek into our eventful week....Enjoy ;)

Saturday: Elliott came down with a fever which lasted until Monday. Fevers always make me nervous and this one was fairly high. I came to the conclusion it was from teething since a new tooth has made an appearance and no one else got sick. I think it may have stemmed from the fact that the tooth came out of nowhere. No swollen gums or cranky baby before the fever or appearance of said new tooth which is normally how it goes down. The crankiness came after and Yikes! After the fever broke Monday, Elliott turned into a bit of a monster.....a screaming monster. And on top of that I had a massive headache for about 3 days straight. Thankfully she has recovered nicely and is back to being the happy, pretty princess we all know and love!

Monday: Grant was stung (or bit?) by a yellow jacket and Baron was run over in the process. The boys were outside emptying out the kiddie pool when a yellow jacket decided to attack and Grant was hit on the arm and face. When he turned to grab Baron and run into the house he didn't realize Baron was literally right behind him and Baron went down hard. So I am in the house with the twins and I hear Grant yell and Baron start screaming pretty much at the same time. I had no idea what happened just that my husband was running for the house carrying my little son who was screaming bloody murder. Scared me a little but thankfully Baron just ended up with a bruise on his tush and Grant the unpleasant reminder of what a bee sting/bite feels like.

Wednesday: On the 4th of July we decided to go to the beach. We got a late start because Baron had a rough time going to bed the night before (he is not a fan of the loud fireworks!), Elliott woke up at 2:30 am needing tylenol and then again at 6:15. She obviously wasn't feelling 100% but after a nap seemed to be in good spirits. We decided to go and after loading up everything we needed (which was half the house), finally hit the road at 11:30. We went to Newport and straight to the beach to throw the ball for Gunner. After about 30 minutes of playing ball and hanging out, the fall happened. I was walking toward the water to take a picture of Baron and Grant when something (Gunner) hit my right side and completely took out my legs. I went down...hard...on my arse. I also felt my left ankle pop. As I sat in the sand all I could think were two thoughts: I hope my ankle isn't broken and how am I going to get back up that hill to the car?? Thankfully I was able to get up and walk around but it really cut our trip short. We decided not to walk downtown and instead headed home after our hour long stay on the beach. At least it was a beautiful day at the coast!

I overheard my sister Tia talking to Elliot last night and her comment completely summed up our week:
 "Elliott, this house is crazy!"

Three Little Websters

Happy Birthday to You Thing 1 and Thing 2

The twins turned 1 on 05/18 and I am just now posting.....on 07/01.  Sheesh, sorry guys!

I think I have put off posting about their birthday because their due date was 06/26 so in my mind they just turned 1 only five days ago. The past year has been entertaining, exhausting, stressful and oh so fun getting to know these two wonderful babies!  There has been lots of sleepless nights, tears, laughter and complete chaos and I wouldn't change it for anything. I plan to do individual posts on where they are at but don't have the time or energy tonight.

So for now a quick summary of Birthday #1 for my sweet, sweet twins!

We had a family BBQ at our house that turned out great. Weather was nice and we enjoyed the backyard and patio that we poured the end of last summer. It got cold just as we moved in for cupcakes. Elliott ate her cupcake right up and Maverick played with his which was to be expected. Although, for a kid that doesn't eat all that much he really enjoyed the licorice :)
