Weight Update: We had a home nurse visit us on 08/03 and Miss Elliott was weighing in at 10lbs 11ozs while Mr. Maverick was 6lbs 2ozs. The nurse relayed the info to the doctor and the feedback was good weight gain on both with Maverick gaining approximately 1/2 oz a day. I was relieved that they were pleased with his weight but personally was hoping he would have been a bit bigger. We won't have another weight check until we go in for their 4 month checkup in Sept. They are both very alert and 13 weeks old yesterday........is that really possible??? Elliott has been trying to sleep a bit longer at night and is becoming pretty efficient at hitting the 6 hour mark at least once while Maverick will go around 4 hours once but is still pretty consistent with getting up every 3. They are both starting to find their voices and Elliott is the smiliest baby I have ever seen. Always has a smile on her face right up to when she starts crying! Maverick is really tracking faces now and is smiling more and more.
