Elliott Annabelle and I ventured out this past Sunday to pick strawberries. Grant was fishing, the boys opted to play at Honey's and Elliott jumped at the chance of going with me. We got a bit of a late start by the time we were out the door and dropped the boys off, so it was pretty warm while we were picking. Elliott did a great job but not one of her picks made it into the basket. She loved eating berries to her hearts content. She is my fruit lover! I picked just over 10 lbs when she had had enough but it was getting hot and close to nap time, so we went ahead and called it a day. And the boys were all happy to enjoy fresh strawberry shortcake that evening!

Two Down.....
I am one proud mama because Elliott is 100% potty trained. Technically she has been fully potty trained for over two weeks now since the last time I changed a poopy diaper was 2 weeks ago this past Saturday. She even gets up in the night instead of having accidents! This does mean that I am getting up at night as well but hey, I'll take it (at least most nights;). She is 31 months old and Baron was 32 months when he potty trained. Now to start working on Maverick.....

Elliott is about 90% potty trained. These are very exciting times at our house people!

The Twins are TWO!
Happy Birthday to my completely fantastic, hilarious and energetic two year olds!
We spent 5 days at my wonderful sister-in-laws home in WA last week (the guys were shrimping - more on this later) and the twins birthday happened to fall on the Saturday we were there. This is the first birthday of one of my kids that we have gotten to spend with her & my nieces/nephews and they went all out. Balloons and Happy Birthday banner filled the hallway when we woke up and she had the table decorated super cute. The cousins got the twins more balloons when they were in town and Grace made cake pops! There was a lot of playing inside and out, bubble blowing and just all around fun. We were very happy to get to spend this special day with Aunt Shannon, Gram "Honey" and Grace/Ava/Finn/Hudson!

Oh The Things Elliott Says
Yesterday my daughter said two different things that completely cracked me up and I just have to share.
She is turning into an early riser and wakes up anywhere from 6:30-7:00 am every morning. She is extremely fairly loud when she is wailing/calling for mommy in an otherwise quiet house so if I don't get her up quickly, she will wake the boys. We are quickly falling into a routine where I bring her to bed with me, we watch news for about 15 minutes and then I turn on Mickey Mouse for her to watch while I shower. She is really good about just sitting on the bed and watching her show (although I do shut the door to the rest of the house) but I leave the bathroom door unlatched because she likes to come in and "check" on me. Yesterday I asked if she was ready for Mickey and she turns to me, tells me "shower" and turned back to her show. I was a bit taken back at the way she said shower (like in a go take a shower and leave me alone kind of way) and so I asked her if she just told me to go take a shower to which she replied "shower" again in a totally like duh tone. I chuckled all the way to the bathroom!
Next funny thing was a little later in the morning and she was....surprise, surprise.....running around in just her diaper. I told her we needed to go pick out an outfit to which she vigorously shook her head no and replied "naked, naked, naked" in a raspy, growl kind of voice.
Where does she come up with these things?!? She certainly has loads of personality and it's one of the many things I completely love about her!
I don't remember the exact circumstances of this photo but she is probably upset because she has to have clothes on ;)

To Dress or Not To Dress?
We are going thru what I hope is just a phase with Elliott (or Annabelle as she is often called) that I have not experiences with the boys. A phase where she wants to be naked...all..of..the..time! She has mastered dressing and undressing which I have to admit I am quite impressed with since she is just 22 months old. You name it she can put it on or get it off. Sweaters, pants, tights, onesies, dresses, socks, shoes, pajamas and diapers. Last week almost every night when I would check on her before bed I would have to re-dress her completely while she slept, diaper and all. I thought perhaps she was ready to potty train since she would take off her diaper if she had gone potty but after a few days I have realized she isn't quite ready. I will keep working on it but for now I just constantly re-dressing or reminding her to put her clothes back on...and reprimanding her for taking her diaper off. So far we are accident free when the diaper is off but I know it's only a matter of time.
And she loves to put my socks on :)

Lazy Bones
Yesterday morning Maverick slept in until 9:30 and he is still sleeping today (it's 9:31). This is unheard of around here! We are lucky to get everyone sleeping until 8:00 and usually everyone is up by 7:30. Still not too shabby for three toddlers but 9:30?!?! He must be growing!
Yesterday Baron and Elliott weren't quite sure what to do without him. A few times I had to not so quietly pull them away from his door because they wanted to check out what was up. Where was bubba???
So we had some homemade applesauce (after breakfast snack and the new fave around here)......
And some computer time....
Until finally Mav decided to join the party. These three obviously love and adore one another because it's just not the same when one is missing :)

Twin Love
Almost 18 months old, my twins aren't really babies anymore. I can really see a change just from July to now. I try to keep my camera ready since they change so fast and I want to capture every chaotic moment :)
Newest obsession: computer nursery rhymes in October!
Double the fun in September.
August and matching pajamas.
4th of July with Great-Gram! We love her enormously!
