We had a wonderful Christmas again this year surrounded by friends and family. Christmas Eve evening was spent at our house with my family and then Christmas Day evening at my in-laws. Christmas Day was spent opening presents with the kids (they didn't wake until 7:15 and later), playing and napping before heading to dinner. Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Christmas Time Activities
We have a lot to keep us busy the last couple weeks leading up to Christmas. Here is a quick rundown of our activities starting with the most recent:
Storybook Land ~ We ventured out to Storybook Land for the first time with Uncle Trav/Katie/Brady, Uncle Tyler & Aunt Tara and the kids loved it. Loads to look at and the highlight was the electric train track with a Thomas the train.
Christmas Trees ~ Baron brought home the cutest Christmas tree from school recently and we decided to make them at home with all the kids. We bought sugar cones, green frosting and candy to decorate with and they turned out awesome.
Zoo Lights ~ We ventured to Zoo lights this year and it was.....well, a zoo ;) We went on a Saturday night with Uncle Trav/Katie/Brady, both sets of the Neuschwanders and what felt like a million other people. We had to park in the zoo overflow parking and be shuttled in on school buses. It was quite the experience since we were also hauling our double stroller. When we finally got in the zoo, it was COLD and very busy. We made it thru in pretty short order but the kids seemed to enjoy themselves so it made it worthwhile. Thankfully Sheri took some pictures because I didn't (herding small children in a sea of people and all).

Christmas 2012
We had a wonderful Christmas at our household and hope you did too! Christmas Eve was spent celebrating with my side of the family at our house. It was a good time of family, food and presents. The kids got many wonderful things including a train track for Baron, awesome blankets for everyone and an adorable book that is read by my grandparents via recording.
Christmas Day we stayed home and had family time. The kids really enjoyed their big presents; a cozy coupe for the twins and trike for Baron. There has been many hours spent riding already which is exactly what I was hoping for! I gave Grant a crock, coat and some slippers while he gifted me with a pair of boots, hair dryer and some wine among other things. We finished off the day with an extravagant meal of duck, homemade stuffing and brussel sprouts.
