Sitting in our NICU room watching the babies sleep together in Maverick's isollette. Maverick is a noise maker, grunting and groaning if something bugs him. Pretty funny actually that so much noise comes from such a little person. He is weighing in at 3lbs 5ozs and we are really seeing a difference with his face filling out. He took 2/3 of his feedings thru the bottle as of yesterday. Seems like the "lightbulb has really come on" (as the nurses say) and now he is just working on getting bigger so he has the energy to take all his feedings via bottle. Grant thinks he will be coming home in the next couple weeks:)
Grant is going back to work tomorrow:( It has been so nice having him with me every day these past 3 weeks. You would think we would get tired of spending all day, every day together but it has been wonderful. We are hoping he will be able to take a little time off once Maverick comes home too. I guess it is time for me to get used to being home with my littles by myself ;) Thank You Grant for being an Amazing husband, dad and friend! Baron, Elliott, Maverick and I love you more than you know!!
