Elliott Annabelle ~ 2 Weeks Old

Elliott came home on Sunday! She has been pretty easy so far and I am hoping it stays that way ;) She seems mild mannered and doesn't complain about much (if anything). She eats about every three hours and seems to be getting stronger which means the feeding time is getting quicker and then sleeps the day away. She is becoming quite the little road warrior traveling back and forth to see brother.

Baron has shown more interest in her than I thought he would and seems to like her. He likes to touch her head and thinks her hair is quite fascinating. He has been a little more lovey to Grant and I the past day or two and I'm wondering if it's because there is a baby in the house that is getting some of the attention that would normally be directed to him??

Unfortunately, even though Elliott is home, we are not able to have a lot of visitors due to illnesses going around (colds, etc). Because she is a preemie, she is more susceptible and it could land her back in Eugene if she gets sick. We also wouldn't be able to bring her to see Maverick, which would be a bummer for all involved! They do love their daily snuggle time!!

Maverick is up in his weight to almost 2 lbs 14 ozs. He is still getting approx 26-28 ml of milk and they still have the added fortifier mixed in. He hasn't been vomiting lately but still has runny, stinky poo as a result.....Gross! He seems to be filling out in his face a bit but I wonder if it's just me seeing him every day that doesn't make him seem as small anymore. He has been drinking small amounts from a special bottle (designed to have a really slow flow for the little ones) and getting anywhere from 5-18 ml. The doctor today said he thinks he could drink alot more if they gave him the opportunity but they don't want him burning more calories than he's taking in. He thinks Maverick will have it down in another couple weeks!
