Grant and I had a nice little surprise when we got to the NICU today....Maverick was wearing clothes! He is off the phototheraphy and gets to have clothes on which he seems to really like. He was holding his temp well so they are starting to decrease the temp in the isolette. If he continues to do well, he will get to try to have the top of the isolette to see how he does. And if he does well with that, they get to co-bed! He ate about 4 ml of milk out of a bottle for daddy today. First time he's had a bottle and I think it was pretty cool that Grant was able to give it to him. He is up to 24 ml per feeding. We also got to hold him more today which was awesome!
Elliott also got to start a bottle last night and is taking anywhere from 10-20 ml per feeding from that and the rest of the 45 ml from the feeding tube. She is a very laid back baby so far, just eating and sleeping. Trying to get the house organized so we can bring her home next week if she's taking all her feeding orally.
Both passed their hearing tests today too.....Hooray!
