Eating

Both babies now have feeding tubes and are getting milk! Maverick is getting very small amounts every 3 hours and Elliott is getting a little more at the same interval. Maverick has jaundice and is on phototheraphy (under a blue light). Sounds like Elliott might end up with some phototheraphy too since I'm told most preemies do get jaundice but this should get better as they eat more. Maverick still has the nasal prongs but nurses think he will probably be off that soon (like tonight). Grant and I get to hold Elliott throughout the day (4-5 times) while we only get to hold Maverick 2-3 times. I will get to hold him tonight and am looking forward to it :) feel very blessed they are both doing so well and that I am their mama!!
